The new software features a number of improvements including an entirely new video engine using the latest high-performance professional video codec. The new video engine is optimised to play multiple Full HD 1080p H.264 MPEG-4/AVC MOV&AVI Codec.
Improvements with Maxedia 4 include: support for H.264 MPEG-4/AVC MOV&AVI HD Professional Codec; pixel accurate video output; support for ultra-widescreen; multi-screen keystoning and edge blending; pixel mapping for RGB and CMY fixtures; support for Live HD-SDI capture video input; intuitive user interface; live diagnostic tool; CITP 1.1 protocol remote thumbnails, and higher resolution support for Maxedia Pro and Maxedia Compact RM.
