The sale was handled by World Marketing Associates on behalf of Nexo and Lisys, distributor for Nexo products in Hungary, which supplied the loudspeaker system as well as several digital consoles, wired and wireless microphones, chainhosts, trusses and a full moving heads lighting system to a value of 1.4 million Euros.
A-Logic Stage System is a relatively new company which is setting its sights on top-end international touring shows and large-scale local events. According to WMA's Francis Williams, "Tthere have never been many large rigs in the accession countries as the acts that can attract large crowds generally tour with their own production. However, this investment by A-Logic is significant, as they can take the indisputable technical knowledge base of Hungary and combine it with lower running costs to make a business with pan-European potential."
A-Logic's principals, Attia Barán and Jozsef Arpa, have bought Nexo before, all the models in the PS Series, a sizeable AlphaE system and Geo S tangent array cabinetsagents Lisys, this was grounds for a long-term professional commitment to GEO technology. A-Logic has now taken delivery of 48x GEO T4805 and 10x T2815 modules, along with 24x CD18 subbass units. There are six amp racks for the speaker hangs, each containing a NX242 system controller, Geo T distro and fiveCAMCO Vortex 6 amplifiers. Amp racks for the CD18 subs contain CAMCO's Vortex 200V models.
