L-R: TPi Awards host Huey Morgan with Tony Bowern of Brilliant Stages and James Wheelright, CEO of J&C Joel.
UK - Brilliant Stages has won accolades at two of the industry's recent annual awards ceremonies. On Monday 10 February, they picked up the award for Favourite Set Construction Company (sponsored by J&C Joel) at the TPi Awards, held at Novotel London West. This year hosted by Huey Morgan, the TPi Awards recognised contributions across 27 categories. Over 1000 people attended from all corners of the live music business.

The evening incorporated a special tribute to Mark Fisher - a name synonymous with the evolution of live scenic event design over the past three decades. Tony Bowern, Brilliant Stages director, said: "Brilliant Stages and I have had the privilege of working with Mark and Stufish for more than 20 years, and we were pleased to host Cristina Garcia, Ray Winkler and a number of the Stufish team on one of our tables at the awards."

The following night at the Event Production Awards, held at London's Earls Court 2, Brilliant Stages won the award for Best Visual Spectacular for its involvement in Robbie Williams' most recent tour.

The awards closed a "fantastic" 12 months for the company, during which they played an integral role in the supply of the set for Robbie Williams' Take The Crown Stadium Tour, while still finding time to construct pieces for Muse's stadium outings and a series of unique experiential touring structures.

"It's always an enormous honour to be recognised within the industry," said Bowern. "These awards acknowledge the commitment, hard work and achievement of every single member of the Brilliant Stages team. I want to extend a thank you to all of our clients and suppliers who continually collaborate with us on some of the industry's most exciting projects."
