Biamp has organised a series of special events to take place over the course of AV Week including visits to local area High Schools to perform complimentary hearing exams and present a lecture on the science of sound and a tour of the company's R&D and manufacturing facilities by students from the DSP programme at Portland State University.
Commenting on the declaration, Biamp Systems marketing project manager, Abbey Masciarotte noted, "With the advent of digital technology, audio and video technology pervades so many aspects of everyday life: from background music in stores and restaurants to paging systems in airports, malls and convention centres, all around the home and increasingly in the form of personal AV."
