MIR Club Arena Stage

Italy - British manufacturer of professional audio products and solutions, Wharfedale Pro, has just concluded another successful attendance of Music Inside Rimini (MIR). Following on from last year's success, Wharfedale Pro’s appearance at this year’s show included a full schedule of product demonstrations.

“Last year’s immersive and line array demos were so well received that we wanted to build on these successes in 2024,” says Peter Peck, marketing manager at Wharfedale Pro. “This year we planned a total of four unique audio experiences: our WLA-210XP and WLA-1A line array systems, immersive demos with our DP-N amplifiers and GPL series loudspeakers and column array demos with our ISOLINE-AX, showcasing the great versatility and range of Wharfedale Pro products.”

The WLA-210XP line array demos drew particular attention. This dual 10” passive array features the acclaimed Wharfedale Pro EVO-Fold waveguide and Wharfedale Pro custom phase plugs to deliver a more consistent off-axis frequency response. On the other hand, Wharfedale Pro were selected to provide the audio system for the MIR Club Arena Stage, a large public space where guest DJs could experience the power of the brand's versatile WLA-1A system.

For immersive audio demonstrations, Wharfedale Pro deployed their GPL series coaxial installation loudspeakers powered by multi-channel DP-N series amplifiers. “This set-up allowed us to demo not only our own products, but the free spatialisation software, NESS, from APG,” explains Peck. “We highlighted the practical, sonic and artistic features of spatial audio and were delighted to see full attendance at these demos throughout the week.”

Finally, in the Central Circle demo area, Wharfedale Pro highlighted their Isoline-AX active column PA systems portable solution for live performance.

“Once again, we received a warm reception in Rimini and we’re thrilled that our efforts to create exciting live audio experiences have been recognised with a Live You Play award,” continues Peck. “Having the space to demonstrate our products makes a big difference and we’re looking forward to continuing the momentum at upcoming shows in 2024, as Wharfedale Pro celebrates its 25thyear of operations.”
