UK - In a first for PLASA Focus, KV2 Audio will be taking over the on-site Bury Theatre for the duration of this year’s trade show. The venue forms part of The Royal Armouries events and conference venue – where PLASA Focus is held – making it easy for visitors to attend demos at their convenience.
This marks the first time a loudspeaker manufacturer has had dedicated use of the theatre. The location represents a significant upgrade for KV2’s demonstrations, allowing the company to demonstrate a wider range of products in a setting more reflective of their real-world environments.
Attendees can expect to hear an ultra-compact ESD CUBE system offering output that belies its diminutive dimensions.
The company will also be presenting some of the most recent additions to its portfolio including the active 2 x 8-inch EX 28 and the compact passive 2-way 6-inch CS6 loudspeakers, alongside the active 15-inch EX 1.5 and 18-inch EX 1.8 subwoofers.
Making the most of the new theatre surroundings will be the award-winning, three-way, full-range active-driven ESR 215 loudspeaker system that continues to astound West End and Broadway audiences on high-profile productions such as Mamma Mia!, The Lion King, Fiddler on the Roof and many more.
A full ES 1.0 system – KV2’s original solution – will be in operation, demonstrating the exceptional performance that has defined it for years.
