USA - Stage Precision is set to showcase SP Grid at InfoComm 2025, marking the next evolution of its technology built upon the success of SP V1. Designed to redefine how professionals create, manage and deploy digital experiences, SP Grid transitions Stage Precision’s core offering from a standalone software product to a comprehensive development, data management, control and integration platform. Stage Precision will be highlighting these capabilities, alongside two new hardware products, Grid Engine and Grid Touch.
InfoComm comes after an exciting few months for the Germany-based company, which recently welcomed Sarah Cox, a well-known spokesperson and advocate on converging technologies in the AV industry, as chief commercial officer.
Now in an open Beta phase, SP Grid is a no-code or low-code platform aimed at simplifying the deployment of complex digital environments, enabling users of all skill levels to access cutting-edge tools to build AVLM projects of all complexities and sizes. From small-scale setups using just LiDAR sensors and touch tablets to comprehensive full building system control, SP Grid scales to fit any project. The platform enables system integrators, designers and developers to develop tailored solutions for spaces, studios and events.
SP Grid provides a versatile and creative platform to streamline project creation and deployment through its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, allowing users to quickly visualise system interconnections, calibrate devices and establish workflow automation with unprecedented ease. A key feature includes the ability to design custom user interfaces, whilst a future expansion will bring seamless import options from UI design tools, making it an attractive alternative to legacy AV control systems.
Importantly, SP Grid supports 3D data visualisation and real-time data handling, delivering responsive management of real-world environments. The platform’s open API and integration capabilities allow for connection with existing systems, whilst its support for Python scripting and custom plugin creation ensures users can develop bespoke integrations to meet their unique project needs.
Stage Precision will also introduce two new hardware products at InfoComm: Grid Engine, a 1U processing unit, and Grid Touch, a range of touchscreen interfaces with wall mount options from 4" to 15", both purpose-built to enhance and extend SP Grid’s capabilities in physical environments.
“We’re thrilled to share SP Grid with an international audience at this year’s show,” says Michael Giegerich, CEO at Stage Precision. “SP Grid is the next evolution of our product; a comprehensive tool for digital experience creation. We’re excited to see how this new approach can democratise the experience economy across many different markets, from broadcast studios to meeting rooms and live events.”
To ensure accessibility, Grid Studio is available free of charge for small applications, with additional features and device connections available via a credit system for larger projects.
“Building on our roots in the event industry, we’re committed to creating tools that meet the current demands of AV, virtual production and events professionals whilst pioneering the next era of digital innovation,” continues Giegerich. “By focusing on the installation market and providing a user-friendly design, we hope to level the playing field for digital experience creation.”
