South Africa - DWR Distribution has announced its appointment as the official Epson distributor for South Africa. The agreement was finalised in June, following a visit to DWR’s offices by Epson’s Lee Harrison and Darren Caithness.

To further strengthen the support DWR provides to both the system integration market and the rental and staging industries, the company also welcomes Timothy Wilson, who will officially join the team at the start of the month.

“I’m excited to have DWR on board as our distributor in South Africa,” commented Lee Harrison, head of video projector sales for Epson’s high-end projector range across Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. “It’s a perfect partnership. Your strapline, ‘It’s all about the people,’ aligns with my philosophy. For me, it’s about working with people who can bring our products to life – those who understand the technology, can engage with customers and end users, and provide more than just competitive pricing. DWR offers knowledge, service, and the ability to deliver complete solutions to our system integrators and rental partners across the region.”

“Importantly, it’s the team behind Epson and their human approach that impressed us,” said Robert Izzett, head of sales at DWR. “They understand the importance of relationships and support. We are confident Epson will be an excellent fit for our system integrators and will continue to be a great solution for schools, universities, churches, and other sectors.”

Timothy Wilson, who was with Epson for nearly a decade and brings 24 years of industry experience, is equally enthusiastic about his new career move. “I’m thrilled to be joining DWR,” said Tim. “It’s a big change, but an exciting one. My focus will be on developing the system integrator channel. I’ve always believed that a change is as good as a holiday, and I’m looking forward to working with a broader portfolio of products beyond projection.”
