USA - The most watched event of the year, Super Bowl 50 starts not at kickoff, but about a week prior with a media circus that must be seen to be believed.

Freeman Audio Visual Solutions, the staging company, and the NFL itself, selected and approved various Alcons Audio Pro Ribbon systems to fill the bill in the vast media centre. The man behind the controls was Martin Reeves of MDR Productions.

UK - When Thor André from Technical Sales at Ambersphere Solutions visited the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) to chat to technical stage manager, Simon Bagnall, the choice for a new replacement lighting console had already been decided and the order placed with the installers, Complete Production Solutions Group (CPS).

"The BIC is in the process of making a significant investment in lighting and AV equipment," opens Bagnall, "And without really exploring our options we were just intending to purchase a lighting console from the same manufacturer as our old large theatre desk. But after a chat with Thor, we took a close look at the MA dot2; the OnPC facility was of great interest to us and with four venues within the centre the 'pick up and go' attraction of the dot2 was obvious. We booked a training session with Thor and he came down the following week.

And of course the laser should be RGB and white light for being able to make the projection fit in with the lighting design.

This is quite demanding, but the new Laserworld EL-500RGB KeyTEX offers all these features.
