Philippines - One of the biggest boy bands in K-pop, EXO, have played their first two concerts outside of Korea with a high-impact lighting design by Moon Won Jun of Lite Factory using over 200 Clay Paky fixtures in Manila, Philippines.

PMX Trading and Technical Services supplied a full technical package to the two consecutive dates, including 130 x Clay Paky Sharpys, 50 x Sharpy Wash 330s, 16 x A.leda B-EYE K20s and a mix of 42 Stormy CC and Stormy LED strobes. The sold-out concerts took place at Manila's 20,000-capacity SM Mall of Asia arena.

China - David Dohrmann, Adamson's technical director Asia Pacific, has teamed up with their Chinese distributor, Real Music, to take the new S10 line array on the road. Real Music and Adamson will host technical seminars and S-Series product demonstrations in four Chinese cities in May 2016.

UK - Music Group has today announced that it "proposes to dismiss as redundant" around 70 staff at its Tannoy manufacturing and office facility in Coatbridge, Scotland.

The company's statement says it is about to enter into a process of collective consultation with all affected employees, but in the event that the redundancies are confirmed following consultation, the Coatbridge facility would cease operations completely.

In this event, say Music Group, the Tannoy loudspeaker production would be transferred to Music Group's manufacturing plant in Zhongshan, China, with its R&D and marketing activities being relocated to the Group's Innovation centre in Manchester, UK.

Kevin Kern and Daydream are well known for writing sound tracks for many popular TV dramas, such as the popular Korean TV dramas, Autumn in My Heart and Winter Sonata, as well as documentaries and radio broadcastings.

Technically, the focus of the concert was to capture a live recording for TV broadcast, and also use the recording to mix down a live album, as well as provide live sound reinforcement.
