White Light LED at LDI 2012

USA - Entertainment lighting specialist White Light will be introducing American lighting practitioners to some of the latest LED lighting fixtures at this year's LDI show, which takes place in Las Vegas later this week.

White Light's team will be showing products from Core Lighting, i-Pix and Galaxia on booth #248; each product family uses LEDs in different ways to provide lighting solutions optimised for particular applications.

Core Lighting's specialty is battery-powered, wirelessly controlled LED lighting fixtures designed for instant illumination anywhere - events, parties and any other type of show where lighting fixtures need to be distributed over a wide area, and unsightly power and data cabling must be kept to an absolute minimum. On show will the Point30 and Point20 fixtures, both RGB-W battery-powered and wirelessly controlled. Also on display will be the high-output Flood30 with a white LED source, equivalent to a 750W tungsten spotlight, IP65 rated for outdoor use.

i-Pix has established itself as the creator of high-quality LED fixtures for lighting shows - their fixtures now being found on concerts, events and theatrical productions around the world. On display at LDI will be the new i-Line 600 and i-Line 1200 battens that offer six- or 12 cell colour-mixing fixtures with an incredibly high light output and a completely colour-blended beam; the square-format BB2x2 fixture based on the popular and well-proven BB-range, and the new Satellite Mk2, which offers five times the intensity of the original i-Pix Satellite.

Galaxia creates LED lighting fixtures for film and television lighting specialists. On show at LDI will be the Galaxia KLA 600R and KLA 595S flat-panel LED softlights that offer a high colour rendering index of 90-95, variable colour temperature from 2700-6500K, smooth dimming and control using DC drivers rather than pulse-width modulation.
