W-DMX in Control at Sport for All Games

The 5th TAFISA World Sport for All Games held in Siauliai, Lithuania
24 September 2012
Lithuania - W-DMX recently took control at the 5th TAFISA World Sport for All Games held in Siauliai, Lithuania. Some 1,200 athletes from over 60 countries and regions participated in traditional games and sports (TSG) from all over the globe.
The Association for International Sport for All (TAFISA) is the leading international Sport for All organization. Held every four years, the week-long Games are a vibrant and entertaining experience, offering an opportunity for the public to discover the traditional and contemporary games and sports of cultures from across the globe.
SSGPRO from Vilnius in Lithuania supplied the lighting rig for the Games, which included fixtures from Vari-Lite, Clay Paky, High End Systems and American DJ as well as control from MA Lighting and W-DMX from Wireless Solution. The Wireless DMX system was set up as a point to multi point system of 2 DMX Universes using BlackBox F-1 and BlackBox R-512 G4 MK2.
SSGPRO made their first investment in the Wireless DMX system after studying the different solutions available at Prolight and Sound in Frankfurt 2012. Regional sales manager Shelly Li of Wireless Solution met with Mr. Viktoras from SSGPRO and introduced the complete W-DMX Range. Mr. Viktoras of SSGPRO said, "Using W-DMX saved us a lot of time during setup and programming - using cables was not an option."
Shelly Li added, "SSGPRO did their homework. Mr. Viktoras had a lot of very good questions that I was able to answer and he felt very comfortable choosing the W-DMX system above all others. The system worked great during the TAFISA Games and we were happy to play a part."
