Fried Buttstedt of XLNT Advanced Technologies and Vertigo Rigging director Rebecca Loughran with the PLASA Award for Innovation

UK - The PLASA award-winning InMotion 3D / CyberHoist motion control system is set for a strong UK presence following an announcement today that Vertigo Rigging, the rigging and height access specialists, has become the UK Service Point for the InMotion 3D motion control system by XLNT Advanced Technologies. The system won a PLASA Award for Innovation at the PLASA Show last month in conjunction with the CyberHoist intelligent motor by Verlinde and the DataMotion and PowerMotion system components from XLNT.
Vertigo director Rebecca Loughran said: "Designers in all environments are embracing the vast possibilities this technology can deliver. For Technical Managers the time saving advantages, reliability and unbeatable VGB-C1 safety standard, are making this the 'must have' motion control system for the professional entertainment industry."
The UK Service Point will provide training and certification for InMotion 3D system operators and programmers, and parts and service advice for future UK CyberHoist owners.
With an initial investment of 48 500kg CyberHoist motors into its own hire stock, and three complete InMotion 3D control systems with DataMotion and PowerMotion, plus associated Apple Mac hardware and tourable packaging, Vertigo says it is backing the most important development in rigging and motion control in a decade.
The InMotion3D object oriented software and CyberHoist intelligent vari-speed motors have been developed as a cohesive package in an R&D process totalling seven years. Consequently, the system is designed, tested and delivered to exceptionally demanding standards. International sales of the complete InMotion 3D / CyberHoist system are handled by Team Projects BV.
