Poland - One of the biggest rental companies in Poland, Transcolor has extended its equipment inventory to include grandMA2 full-size consoles. It was a logical 'next step' for them with grandMA series equipment, having previously used the grandMA full-size 'series 1', the company says.
Marcin Michna, one of Transcolor's lighting designers explained the reasons for purchasing grandMA2: "After nearly two years of the completely reliability of working with grandMA 'series 1', Transcolor made the natural decision to purchase the same equipment. This time however we have invested in two grandMA2 full-size consoles, which have already been used on two TV Shows, Strictly Come Dancing X' and Got Talent II."
Continues Michna: "With LED technology now in everyday use, we realised that our existing control desks were not sufficient to manage all the different types of lighting and digital lighting fixtures. The grandMAs offer real time programming for conventional lights as well as moving lights, large quantities of LED surfaces/fixtures and media servers. External proccessors ensure the incorporation of multiple additional DMX outputs that are perfectly synchronised. The grandMA system also has a reliable backup which is very important for live TV shows.
