PLASA 2012 show sponsors confirmed

UK - PLASA are proud to announce the Sponsors for this year's event at Earl's Court from Sunday 9 - Wednesday 12 September.
Platinum Sponsor is Robe Lighting, the Czech Republic-based manufacturer of moving lights and digital lighting products. General manager, Josef Valchar, is looking forward to PLASA 2012. "It is a very exciting time to be involved in lighting manufacture with the increasing convergence between the mediums of lighting and video into one integrated visual tool. Environmental concerns and the importance of developing energy efficient and sustainable technology for the future is also starting to shape our industry. These and other issues are already influencing our future plans and R 'n' D at Robe - which continues along the proactive and innovative path that has made it a market leader."
Gold sponsor Martin Professional is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the professional lighting industry this year. From a small producer of disco light and fog machines in 1987, they are now acknowledged as a world leader in the manufacture of luminaires and video display tools for the entertainment industry. In 2011, the revolutionary MAC Aura moving head won the PLASA Award for Innovation - and went on to become the company's fastest-selling product of all time. UK sales director Mike Walker comments, "We are looking forward to this year's PLASA show where we will be launching some great new products across all categories - moving heads, LED video, lighting control and smoke. We invite lighting professionals and all our many loyal customers to join us for drinks to celebrate our 25th Anniversary."
For the second year running, d&b audiotechnik will be sponsoring the PLASA Bar. "In Germany traditions run deep and there's nothing at d&b audiotechnik we like better than embedding a good idea into company folklore." says Stephen 'Oggi' Hogg, managing director of the d&b audiotechnik UK office, "So for the second year running, d&b is pleased to announce that it is the official sponsor of the PLASA Bar where you can meet, chat freely, relax and have a drink at the very centre of the show floor."
