PLASA 2012: Cygnus LED fixtures

17 August 2012

UK - The Cygnus range from Wybron features 100W and 200W RGBW theatrical and Variable White film and TV LED fixtures, all now supplied with quick and easy interchangeable lenses.

Cygnus provides more than five times the brightness of comparable products thanks to a proprietary design featuring 48 or 96 (depending on the model) CREE LEDs in a quad package for ultra-high lumen density and virtually rainbow-free shadows, says the company.

"With the new interchangeable lenses, users can quickly switch between very narrow (16°) or medium flood (24°) patterns, without losing brightness or clarity of light. 100% colour consistency between multiple fixtures is made possible by Wybron's proprietary colour balancing software.

A true dimming ratio over 200,000:1 gives extremely smooth fading even at low intensity levels. Both RGBW and Variable White fixtures feature a high-speed mode for flicker-free performance for film and video. Variable White units feature a variable colour temperature range from 2800K to 6000K. All units are fully RDM functional, and software upgrades can be uploaded without dismounting or disconnecting fixtures. The industry-leading quality and long-term value for money that Wybron is so well known for are standard."

Wybron is exclusively distributed in the UK by TMB. Find out more about Cygnus on stand 1-B12 at PLASA (9-12 September, 2012)
