PLASA 2011: Chauvet to launch new products

UK - Chauvet will launch the release of Q-Wash 260-LED to the European market at PLASA 2011, stand F-53. Additionally, Chauvet will be participating in this year's STLD LED Shoot Out presented by Society of Television Lighting and Design.

Chauvet's Q-Wash 260-LED joins the Q-Series of moving heads which have always stood for quality, value and groundbreaking LED technology. Chauvet's Q-Wash 260-LED is no different. It is an incredibly punchy, fast and compact moving head wash light with RGB colour mixing. This lightweight, easy-to-install unit has 37 three-watt, RGB LEDs, a six-degree beam angle, and nine or 12 channels of DMX control. Q-Wash 260-LED is an economical fixture which can be used in larger dynamic arrays or groups, and has an effect similar to a colour-changing ACL fixture.

Chauvet joins other leading manufacturers in a shoot-out of LED lighting fixtures, led by Lighting Designer Paul Middleton and hosted by the STLD. This is a new event, exclusive to PLASA, where attendees will be able to directly compare LED lighting fixtures in three different areas of a 240 square-meter space.
