Milos acquires Tomcat & Litec

The new deal makes Milos the largest global aluminium trussing and staging group
16 August 2012
Czech Republic - Trussing and staging manufacturer Milos Group has announced the recent acquisition of two leading trussing and staging brands - Litec and Tomcat.
The new deal makes Milos the largest global aluminium trussing and staging group with the addition of major manufacturing bases in Italy, Slovakia, Mexico and the US to strengthen their 250,000sq.ft of production facilities in the Czech Republic and Asia.
Milos's CEO Frantisek Zykan states, "We are very excited with this announcement. Our strategy has always been to deliver the best products made to the highest standards of excellence with a quick, efficient turnaround. Having Litec and Tomcat on-board expands the ideas pool and product range to meet all staging needs .... with a truly international reach.
"All those working for Litec and Tomcat are driven, focussed and share our collective visions for the future."
Tomcat is based in Midland, Texas. Mike Garl, president & general manager of Tomcat says, "We are delighted to become part of the Milos Group, which will open up a huge range of creative possibilities with like-minded individuals. Tomcat has always been 'customer driven', and we strive every time to provide service beyond expectations to our clients."
Litec was founded in 1991 and operates out of a large manufacturing facility in Mogliano Treviso, Italy, with another manufacturing plant in Slovakia which is optimised for standard product production.
It offers a wide range of stylish products that have become popular worldwide for the conference, exhibition, corporate, commercial and event industries.
Fabio Prada, VP sales & marketing of Litec says, "Joining forces with MILOS will enable all of us to continue offering the best staging solutions - off-the-shelf and customised - to meet the needs and exactions of our customers worldwide. Our staffs are all motivated by passion, enthusiasm and initiative, which is very much the Milos ethos."
