LSC Opens US Office

LSC has opened a US office, headed up by Rob Steel
28 September 2012
USA - LSC Lighting Systems has opened a fully-staffed office in the United States of America. The move is a step in its on-going commitment to customer support from both a sales and technical perspective demanded by this vital market sector, says the company.
Based in Knoxville Tennessee the office will be headed up by well-known industry icon Rob Steel. "Most people will know Rob from his days running Avolites America and his industry knowledge and experience as well as his impeccable reputation are widely known," says LSC.
Rob commented, "I am so excited to be involved with LSC. I have had dealings with them in the past and have found them to be a great bunch of guys with a fantastic product range. They have been manufacturing products for the industry for the last 30+ years and selling those products worldwide. That experience shows in their product designs and it is a breath of fresh air to put your hands on product that is well thought out and ergonomic. For the American market, LSC is like a hidden treasure and I intend to make sure that the treasure doesn't remain hidden any longer."
Gary Pritchard, CEO of the LSC operation remarked, "We have been planning for many years to open an office in the US as we see it as a very important market for us and we feel that it is only by local supply and support can we provide a viable and professional service. The recent release of the new Clarity LX range of consoles made this the perfect time to open the LSC USA office. I have known Rob for over 20 years and I welcome his appointment to the position. With Rob at the helm I know that he will go out of his way anytime of the day to ensure the customer is looked after".
The new office will hold an extensive range of stock, undertake warranty and general service work in-house, as well as provide technical support and operator training. Rob and his staff can be contacted at:
