LOBO lines up innovations for ProLight+Sound

LOBO's Bliss-XT laser projector brings the advantages of the Sparks series to smaller and medium-sized projects.
24 February 2012
Germany - Laser specialist LOBO will present new innovations which complete its comprehensive product portfolio, including additions to its successful Sparks series, a completely new projector for small- and medium-sized applications and an all-new version of its Modula controllers.
The Bliss-XT Compact projector brings the advantages of the award-winning Sparks series to smaller or medium-sized events. Besides a stylish design, it also bundles all characteristic features of its big brother in a compact housing, and is silent in operation. "Considering that the unit is furnished with one of the best scanning systems money can buy, this product is also a small revolution in terms of price," the company says.
Also new, the 'Sparks Power Deck' is dedicated to permanent installations with extreme brightness demands or the need for individual optical set-ups. "In addition, with the Power Deck it is possible to develop complex solutions on the basis of fibre-supplied projectors as they often are applied in theme parks and planetariums," say LOBO.
The new laser show player, Modula-7, will also be introduced at PL+S. Contrary to its predecessor, the Modula-5, it not only plays back a pre-recorded data stream, but calculates and displays all show contents in real-time. Modula-7 supports the full range of extension modules which includes, besides timecode modules, extension modules with RS-232 or with digital input and output channels - and also for special applications, e.g. a GSM card for SMS-reception or a GPS module for synchronisation with other systems at any distance.
Finally, for applications requiring an expended colour gamut or especially high brightness, LOBO is introducing the new Twin-Module, which combines two laser heads in one Sparks module. This enables to set-up six laser heads in one Sparks compact projector.
