Independent Studio Services on the move

UK - With effect from Monday 21 November 2011 Independent Studio Services has moved to larger premises at: Low Green, Nowton, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP29 5ND (Tel: 01284 765066).

The move has come about to facilitate the increased demand for the company's services of design, supply and installation of complete stage engineering mechanical facilities.

Under the leadership of MD Simon Caldwell, Independent Studio Services brings many years of experience providing mechanical and electrical engineering solutions to the performing arts industry, from initial design and planning, right through to the supply of hardware, and full installation.

Independent Studio Services also provides project management services on full stage equipment installations, interfacing with clients and contractors to ensure the most efficient, timely and safe execution of a project.

"Independent Studio Services brings its full support and commitment to every project. Our move to the new, larger premises will enable us to complement our site services, with in-house testing on a grander scale. Alongside this, we will be able to provide in-house training for products such our BGV C1 Lift Pile-wind hoist, and TT track systems provided by Tuchler," says Caldwell.

ISS is an approved installer and partner of Tuchler and other worldwide brands such as ASM Steuerungstecknik, White Light, Milos, Prolyte Products UK and Hoac.

Part of the new Low Green premises will be given over to yet another facet of the Independent Studio Services portfolio of services, that of maintenance and inspection.

"Our extensive experience with LOLER inspections of theatres, TV studios, conference centres, schools, and for a wide range of local authority facilities provides clients with a breadth of knowledge essential in securing a workplace and avoiding costly downtime," adds Caldwell.

Our intention is to assure our clients that we are one of the leading stage and theatrical engineering solution providers in the UK. Our move to the new premises will help us increase our capacity for serving our clients more efficiently in the years to come."
