Claire House takes on new role at Cooper Controls |
UK - Cooper Controls UK has announced the appointment of Claire House as brand manager for its entertainment brands. As part of the company's new structure and strategy for the performance entertainment marketplace, House will manage day- to-day marketing, reporting, and strategic guidance of the Zero 88 entertainment lighting control and State Automation high density dimming system product ranges.
House moved to South Wales in 1997 and accepted a role at Zero 88 as a marketing executive, working directly for founder Peter Brooks. During her time with the organisation she led the marketing team at AIM listed Polaron plc, where she managed marketing activities for its13 business units including manufactured brands, distributors, value added resellers and its specialist nanotechnology company Oxford NanoScience.
In this new role, House will refocus her efforts in conjunction with the sales teams to define and lead Cooper's Entertainment strategy in 240V markets. "With Claire's vast experience in the entertainment industry," says Ken Walma, general manager, Cooper Controls, "combined with her passion and dedication to the Zero 88 brand, she was a natural choice for the leadership role."
"It's an exciting time for the brand," said House. "We have an excellent core business; couple this with Cooper's focus on innovation and its commitment to the entertainment market and we have never been in a better place for growth. I'm delighted to take on this opportunity and look forward to working with the Zero 88 team and our distribution partners as we move into a new phase of development."
