Hawthorn opts for Aztec

28 February 2005
UK - Production hire company Hawthorn Theatrical has taken delivery of a 32-channel Aztec console to complement its ever increasing stock of Audient equipment, including a sizeable number of Audient's graphic equalizer, the ASP231. Specializing in event design and production, Hawthorn has a wealth of experience in corporate, AV, install and live production, providing the "one-stop-shop" production and hire service. With a hire inventory of over 2615 lines of stock, 62 members of full time staff as well as a warehouse the size of 5 football pitches, Hawthorn's commitment to providing a professional service at the very highest level is clearly evident.
Audient's UK sales manager, Nick Pemberton says: "When I visited Hawthorn for the first time, I was taken back by the company's scale. It's a truly amazing place. Since then I have been back on a number of occasions and still I get wowed by the scale and the professionalism there."
Hawthorn's head of sound, Iain Reinhold, says: "I had been looking at upgrading our present stock of hire equipment and I had been interested in Audient since I was introduced to the brand in early 2004. After several high profile events where Aztec was trialled, we knew it was right. That, coupled with Audient's growing acceptance and continued success at the highest level, made it a very sensible option. We are very happy to have invested in Audient. It's great value for money, very reliable and above all, has amazing sound quality!"
Reinhold concludes: "The service that Audient has provided has been second to none. They inspire confidence and security with every purchase that we have made. The backup service and support Audient offers is superb, with solutions to technical and logistical queries being dealt with swiftly and professionally."
