Compulite Illuminates Britain's Got Talent

24 April 2009
UK - The lighting for the mega edition of Britain's Got Talent show that conquered Web and TV screens with Susan Boyle's extraordinary performance is being run by Compulite's Spark 4D consoles.
Compulite's Vector consoles, Vector Wings, and Spark4D are running ITV studios' lighting equipment. ITV is also using Compulite equipment to run other popular shows like including X-Factor and Dancing on Ice.
Darren Lovell, who programmed the show, said: " I decided to tour the auditions of Britain's Got Talent with a Spark 4D for its reliability and ease of use. The Spark 4D Performed very well, controlling the theatre dimmers with a large selection of LED fixtures including Chroma Strips, Chroma Cans, Color Punch and a handful of moving lights consisting of MAC 2K'S Profiles. Its compact size also meant it fitted perfectly in the back of the stalls in some of the smaller theatres."
The lighting designer of the show is Mark Kenyon.
